Love Gods Storyboard

In this assignment I was suppose to create a storyboard  from a scene from "Love Gods in a illustration format. I am also suppose to only use 2-3 shades of grey, white, or black on my thumbnail. The amount of shots that I needed to complete was 27.

The composition element  of my scene is utilizing the rule of thirds to catch the viewer's eye onto my image and using the different kinds of shading to illustrate the lighting in my storyboard. Also by getting the characters a bit closer to the frame it creates more attention to them than the environment. Most of the focal points of my scene is leaning towards the characters than any solid objects or the environment. Since there is going to be a ton of character interaction in this scene it makes sense that most of the focal points are going to be centered around the characters.

I feel that on most shots of my scene I did a good job leading the viewer's eye to the focal points by using lighting and the rule of thirds. However, on some of them I feel they need some more work on them because some of the characters don't express movement and appear flat. In order to fix this, I used arrows to indicate where the character is going to move. Another problem I had is framing the characters on the right perspective. I solved this problem by adding a horizon line and adding a vanishing point to line up the angle of my image.
