The software that was used to UV and model these objects is Maya. Maya is a 3D modeling software where you could create objects such as buildings, swords, shields, etc.
The software that was used to texture the models is called Substance Painter. This program is used to create high quality texture sets for your objects with the materials that they provide you.
If you want to create the materials yourself from scratch instead of the materials they provide in Substance Painter then you could use a program called Substance Designer. this creates the material that you want from scratch utilizing the height, normal, rough, base, metal, and ambient occlusion map.
Finally, when it comes to rendering the software that was used is the Marmoset Tool-bag. This is used to provide high quality renders for the scene that you are making.
The problems I had faced during this project was that my furnace model has kept disappearing from me as well as some UV's from some of my objects. the solution to this was to just export the objects separately into FBX's once I have fully modeled them.
The minor problems that I have faced was that I could not bake the high poly models onto my objects at times but that was easily fixed thanks to the anti aliasing option that they had.
What I have learned from this project was how to use Marmoset Tool-bag. I learned how to render a scene properly with my models in it with the lighting and cameras that they provide. This also gave me a chance to polish up on my UVing again, learning new tricks on the way as well like using the edge tool.
When it come to Substance painter and Designer I manage to polish up on my painting skills and I learned a few things from designing. Although I am still not confident enough to use Substance Designer, I feel I got the basics on how to understand the program.
