Hyper Realism

For the jar of coins I made sure that it follows the rule of thirds and that it is the first thing that the viewers will see. I also set the brightness down so there wouldn't be too much of a shine coming from the jar from the light. I decided to go with a wide angle because if I were to do it any other different way then I would have had a harder time matching up the angle to the other objects I decided to put in there. The main focal point of the scene is the jar of coins because I want the viewers to be a bit surprised when they see it first then see a little man sitting on top of the jar of coins. I felt I did achieve drawing the viewer's eye to the focal point because I used the rule of thirds to make it so. I had a hard time trying to match up the angles of other objects with the table so it would not look like if it was floating on the table. when it came to lighting I had a pretty easy time since I used my room light and the kitchen light for my images which were the same. When it came to fixing the lighting for some images I used the curves adjustment layer to match it up with the environment. I also used the blur tool for my shadows so it could look more natural since I had to draw them in. When it came to cropping out the objects I used a soft brush to erase the unnecessary background because it provided better results than when I used the lasso tool or the quick selection tool. I used the Hue/Saturation layer to give some Saturation to the image to make it feel a bit more lively and finally I used the Levels adjustment layer to make the lighting of the image sharp.
